EMPTY BOWLS FUNDRAISER DINNER Saturday, April 21, 2012 10AM – 2PM Yelduz Shrine Center 802 S. Main ST, Aberdeen, SD Empty Bowls is a community project that uses creative arts and education to work on a social problem -- hunger.
Ceramic bowls are created by local community people, students and artists who then host a simple meal of soup and bread.
Guests attending the meal make a donation, have some soup, then choose a bowl to take home as a reminder of the event
and of the fact that hunger exists, even here in Aberdeen. Raising awareness of local hunger issues is a major goal of the project and
all funds raised are used locally to fight hunger. We need You!!
Join the Planning Committee to keep the project
moving forward. Call Stacy at 226-1557. ------------------------------------ To build bowls phone the ARCC at 626-7081 to reserve a spot at the next building session.
